Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: June 12, 2025
By using Invyt ("Invyt," "we," "us," or "our"), a web-based guest list app for event planning, accessible at https://invyt.app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use Invyt.
1. Use of Invyt
Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use Invyt. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement.
Account Creation: To access certain features (e.g., cross-device syncing, premium plans), you must create an account with a valid email address and password.
Permitted Use: Invyt is for personal or professional event planning (e.g., BBQs, weddings, corporate events). You may not use Invyt for illegal activities, spamming, or sending unsolicited invites.
User Conduct: You agree not to upload harmful content (e.g., viruses, malware) or misuse Invyt in a way that disrupts its functionality or other users' experience.
2. Guest List and Data
Local Storage: For unauthenticated users, guest list data (e.g., event details, invitee names) is stored locally on your device using browser storage (e.g., localStorage). You are responsible for securing your device.
Synced Data: Authenticated users' guest list data is stored on our servers to enable cross-device syncing. We use reasonable measures to protect this data, but no system is 100% secure.
User Responsibility: You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of guest list data (e.g., ensuring you have consent to share invitees' contact information).
3. Payments
Premium Plans: Invyt offers a free plan (up to 20 guests) and premium plans for larger guest lists or additional features. Payments are processed via Stripe, a third-party provider. Review Stripe's Terms of Service for details.
No Refunds: All payments for premium plans are non-refundable, except where required by law.
4. Intellectual Property
Ownership: Invyt, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Invyt or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute Invyt without our written permission.
User Content: You retain ownership of your guest list data but grant Invyt a limited license to store and process it to provide the service.
5. Termination
By You: You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at dev@codingspace.io. Local data on your device may remain until manually cleared.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, with or without notice.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your access to synced data may end, but local data on your device remains your responsibility.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Invyt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free functionality, or suitability for your specific event.
You use Invyt at your own risk, and we are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized access to your device or account.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Invyt is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., lost data, event disruptions) arising from your use of the app.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for premium plans, if applicable.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in Invyt's functionality or legal requirements. We will notify you via email or in-app notice.
Continued use of Invyt after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
